Program Overview:

UHSSE offers a rigorous curriculum in science and engineering with advanced level science/math and engineering courses. UHSSE features an early-college partnership with the University of Hartford through which qualifying students may take University of Hartford courses at no cost while still enrolled at UHSSE. School awards include: Magnet Schools of America: National School of Excellence, U.S. News & World Report: Best High Schools in America, ConnCAN Awards for reducing achievement gap for African American and Hispanic students. Commended Teachers Awards from M.I.T. and Yale. Based on the 2010-11 enrollment data, the school meets the state integration standard.
