As a college preparatory academy, high academic expectations, strong parental participation, and rich diversity all help to shape the culture of the Public Safety Academy. Students develop the values, self-discipline, work habits, academic skills and life skills that will help them thrive in college and will make them indispensable leaders within their chosen fields. Students work with professional firefighters, police officers, homeland security personnel, corrections personnel, emergency medical services, forensic scientists and law professionals. Graduates go on to higher education and pursue careers in law enforcement, firefighting, emergency medical services, public safety communications and other related careers.
