Program Overview:

Classical Magnet School provides highly motivated students with the opportunity to engage in a rigorous liberal arts curriculum firmly rooted in the classics. Classical faculty prepares students for success in the most competitive colleges and universities. All students carry a full course load of Latin, English, history, math and science for each of seven years in the school. Faculty utilizes the Paideia method of instruction, which places the responsibility for learning on students and emphasizes student growth through knowledge, intellectual development, and a deeper understanding of ideas and values. Based on the 2010-11 enrollment data, the school meets the state integration standard.
