High school students pair advanced math and science classes with industry internships focused on their area of interest and future careers.
Students interact with professionals who serve as guest speakers, mentors, and tutors. Elective courses include electronics, quantum mechanics, nuclear chemistry, computer science, and engineering design as well as a host of biological science courses and advanced mathematics electives. Through the robotics programs, state-of-the-art research labs, and NASA Explorer School partnership, academy students regularly apply classroom lessons to real-world situations. Based on the 2010-11 enrollment data, the school meets the state integration standard.
